Here are 30 major causes of failure according to Napoleon Hill. He has analyzed thousands of people during 25 years of research trying to find the reason why people succeed and why they fail.

1-Lack of a well-defined purpose in life
It is challenging for someone to succeed if it doesn’t have a central purpose or definite goal to at which to aim.
2-Lack of ambition
There is no hope for the person who is so indifferent as not want to get ahead in life.
3-Insufficient education
It takes more than a degree to make one a person of knowledge. Men are paid not for what they know, but more particularly for what they do with that which they know.
4-Lack of self-discipline
Discipline comes through self-control. It means that one must control all negative qualities.
5-Ill health
No person may enjoy success without good health. Many causes of ill health are:
a- Overeating of foods not conducive to health
b- Wrong habits of thought, giving expression to negatives
